独自漂泊异乡多年
时光多为独处
在这个现实冷酷的世界里苦苦打拼
观察自己 观察周遭
内心永远住着一个长不大的脆弱孩童
常常自嘲一笑
不论住在哪里
自己
永远都是个没有家的流浪汉
银行账户里不论是不论数字是大还是小
内心却从未有过真正的安全感
唯有在字里行间
似乎可循
那曾经并不遥远的青春的痕迹和尾巴
若即若离间
人生已进三十
痛苦 孤独 感怀 悔恨 自怜自艾 自嘲自讽
胸中苦闷抑郁难捱
对故乡的思念
对亲人的眷恋
对爱情的渴求
对自卑的无奈
对世界的彷徨
希望可以
远在大洋的这一头
通过文字
和陌生的你
分享不论走到世界哪个角落
都同样

外婆的门廊
杰米的外婆住在南方
古朴的木房子稍显破败
房檐翘起的木板
还那顺势被拔起的已然裹着一层层锈迹的钉子
有如阿瑞斯的矛尖
似乎还在彰显着南方人的不羁与傲慢
外婆的门廊就在这房檐下
每天晚餐后外婆都会坐在门廊里
就如同所有南方人一样
面对着不远处满是树挂和苔藓的树林中
有一条若隐若见的小路
外婆一边望着那条小路一边说
“他就快回来了”
谁？
我有些莽撞地问道
“杰米的外公就就要回来了”
我退身回头望着客厅正中央的位置
一面三角形的合众国国旗
一枚一尘不染的紫心勋章
一个朝气蓬勃身着军服的年轻人
在泛黄的照片里对着你微笑
下面有一行字
"Forever Memory of 1LT. Jermaine Walker in North Korean, 1951"

杰米的外婆住在南方
古朴的木房子稍显破败
房檐翘起的木板
还那顺势被拔起的已然裹着一层层锈迹的钉子
有如阿瑞斯的矛尖
似乎还在彰显着南方人的不羁与傲慢
外婆的门廊就在这房檐下
每天晚餐后外婆都会坐在门廊里
就如同所有南方人一样
面对着不远处满是树挂和苔藓的树林中
有一条若隐若见的小路
外婆一边望着那条小路一边说
“他就快回来了”
谁？
我有些莽撞地问道

深感身处异国他乡多年 祖国不可思议的日益强大每天似乎都能成为人们或媒体公开或私下讨论的话题
却也时常在各种西方报纸媒体看到污蔑扭曲反对祖国的报道还有为了各种目的为其“作证”的华人面孔 无言以对的无奈
在某种意义上更深的体会到了无论成就如何自己身在夹缝中寻求生存的华人的现实
历史其实深深的影响着每一个人的命运 只是你我每天的生活触碰不到它的脉络
投了稿 虽未入选 但却也受到主编热情之鼓励 失落、勉励自己之余分享在此
每每用英文写作都会
自觉自己只是一个孤独热爱文学却纠结于中文还是英文写作在异国他乡的文学流浪汉
The Woman with Sunflower on Her Head
I was walking at the Pier
There is an old woman
She always sits at the corner
Keeping away from the crowd
With the Sunflower on her head
She stares at the direction of deep ocean at far away
Not even a blink
In the Sunset
Sunshine gently touching her from one side to the other
The shadow of her wrinkle showed her face
As a piece of sculpture
Sculptured
By time
I said Hello
She asked me to sit down
The sun is going down
We start to talk
Feels as we know each other forever
She lost her husband during the Korean War
Her grandson is on duty overseas now
"I am waiting for him to come back home"
She said
The Sun is gone
The crowd at Pier
Fade into the background
The ocean in the darkness
As black ink
Instead of the color of golden sunshine
It stays away
But turns to be a monster near beach
Sea waves as his thousand fingers
Scratching the beach
The sound
Again and again
As he will never let it go
Cold wind blowing my leg
"The sun is gone"
"I feel sad somehow"
I said
"Don't be"
She said
"There is just another Sunrise on the other side of the earth"
To warm up another land of God
To light up millions of souls
"The orient---Your hometown"
She said
Yes, my hometown
The place where called home
The place where she lost her husband
The place we were friends and
Enemy
I thought I saw a broken heart at the pier
But
I just saw
A woman with Sunflower on her head

The Cat with Half A Tail
There is a black cat
with only half of his tail left
near my new apartment
walking around the neighborhood
I saw him only twice
and one time
The Neighbors' kids threw an empty can at him
when he was next to the wall
by the parking lot
enjoying Sunshine
and cleaning his face with his claw
The two kids bet on how far he could jump with only half of his tail
"Half a foot"
"No, one foot"
They threw the empty can
Before I yelled to them to stop
He already ran away
As fast as any other cat
With half of his tail
Oh, poor baby cat
What happened to you?
Who did that?
Sometimes
I stand next to my window
holding up the curtain
trying to find out where he is
But I never find him
He is like a ninja
always hidden somewhere
"Good Job,
That's probably the best way to protect himself,"
I said to myself
One day
I brought a can of pet food
put it under the wall
far away from the gate at the parking lot
a very quiet spot with nobody around
I hid in my car that is so old and almost broken
that even when I stayed low and kept still
The seat still made noises
"What a boneshaker!"
I complained to myself
Wait
Now the cat is coming out from nowhere
Starting to check out the food can
One second
He is eating!
I am so happy
I opened my car door carefully
But he still heard me
He stopped
I freeze there
He stared at me
I am looking at him
The world stopped in one second
and
He lowered his head and kept eating
I moved forward closer to him
He ate voraciously without taking a breath
Like me eating Thanksgiving turkey every year
I get a little bit closer and try to pat him
Suddenly
He arched his back and
His hair stood up
There was even some food still on his whiskers
But I can clearly hear
He is saying
"Get Lost!"

你已然熟睡 我却无法入眠 如同上一次你深夜而来 就如同一场旋风般的梦 匆匆而来 匆匆而去
我是一个太过孤单的人 我太容易在孤单时爱上一个人 而抱着你入眠让我几近欲罢不能的想要抱着你更紧 更紧 紧到你永远不会从我的生命里再次溜走 而我知道你明早就会又像一阵风一样的离去
我真的睡不着了 看着你侧卧的倩影 写了这首诗给你
不知道读过之后你以后是不是会永远不理我了 但那也许也没什么不好 不如留我一个人孤单 你就如梦一场 匆匆而来 匆匆而去
至少 一切 来的彻底
我畏惧 这相拥的感觉

感受着你呼吸的温柔
你的气息轻轻抚摸着我的臂弯
像只小猫一样
俏皮地
一呼一吸

最近偶尔闲来在读大学时期被英语教授强烈推荐当年系里面的同学们去读的古体英文诗
她推荐的书目几乎被莎士比亚占据了所有篇幅
当年觉得又烦又难懂谁要看
年少气盛只想通过四六级考试没工夫欣赏什么看不懂的鬼头古体英文诗
当时觉得好笑 高考过后中文古体诗都快被自己忘干净了
时隔这许多许多年
才慢慢体味到了古体英文就犹如古体中文一样的含蓄和欲说还休的那种美
忍不住自己试了试写了这首古体英文诗
然后又试着用古体中文来翻译解读
古体英文对照古诗古韵的文言文
真的很有意思 真心很享受

对照简体中文和现代英语又自己翻译了一遍 蛮好玩的 很享受
不得不说古英文和中文的文言文一样 一旦翻译过来了味道和感觉就多少都变了 有些地方甚至没了那种慢慢品味的感觉
